Sharing with you some AYURVEDA WISDOM as been studied for ages.
The three doshas maintain or destroy the body if they are normal or abnormal, respectively, and ensure the functioning of all mental and physical functions. In every body cell, all these three principles must work and every human body needs all doshas for its form, life and functions. But for each person the ratio of the doshas is unique. Sometimes one constitution type predominates, sometimes two, and in some, all three are almost equally divided. So someone can be a pure vata type, or a vata-pitta type or a vata, pitta and kapha type, which we call a three dosha type. Our constitution (prakriti) is innate and we keep it our entire life. We can, however, influence it if we are out of balance and we can keep our dominant dosha in balance and not stimulate excessively. Nutrition and meditation can play an enormous role here.
